
The M2 processor family will be used in the next generation of Apple’s MacBooks, which has already been announced. Mark Gorman, a leading expert, has provided a lot of additional information about devices equipped with the first M2 processor.
According to him, these chips are now being tested on new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, MacMini and MacPro computers with third party software.

According to Gorman, the standard M2 processor will be used in the next MacBook Air, which will have 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores over the M1’s 8 core GPU. The M2 MacBook Air has the same CPU and screen size as the basic MacBook Pro.
The 14 ′ ′ and 16 ′ ′ MacBook Pros, on the other hand, will feature the advanced M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs. Specifications for the M2 Pro’s CPU and GPU are unclear, while the M2 Max is expected to include a 12-core CPU and a 38-core GPU.

Apple is also developing a Mac Mini and Mac Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max SoCs. The M2 Ultra CPU or M2 Xtreme, which is expected to be a combination of two M2 Ultra processors, will be offered in a more powerful version of the Mac Pro.
According to rumors, more details about Apple’s upcoming M2 hardware are expected to be unveiled at the WWDC event in June.
